Reduced Very nice, well preserved TC Pre-Seneca rifle in .45. The barrel is 1:48 twist. The rifle was shot very little, apparently, cleaned and tucked away for who knows how long. Overall condition is over 95% and due to a few minor bumps and bruises. Bore is bright, sharp and mirror bright. A sought after model. $550 + Shipping. Trades possible.

WHAT IS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PRE-WARNING Seneca AND Hawken. I HAVE SOME BUT DON'T KNOW WHICH. THANKS. Dale [stupid computer or operator]

pre warning does not have the " see owners manual " stuff on the barrel , also real early t/c rifles did not have a name on on the barrel
If I didn't all ready have 4 of these and another one soon from a good forum member and medical bills I would jump on this. These are great rifles I am a Seneca& Cherokee Nut some body buy this and put me out of my misery good luck on your sale

I'd love a Cherokee or one of these Senecas in a .36cal one day

Differences I can observe between it and my pre-warning TC Hawken is the breech (tang) has rounded shoulders where it starts into the wood, the wedge plates are plain, lock is plain, Hammer is smaller, cheek piece is squared off rather than rounded, front sight is square rather than an elongated round bead, barrel is shorter. If it not for property debt, I'd buy it.
