This is a pretty respectable example of an all English built Parker Hale Pattern 1858 two band Enfield. .577 (.58), of course. The finish is overall Very Good Plus, with 95%+ bluing and minor handling marks and wear to stock. The bore is near excellent, with a small ring of pitting near muzzle. Wonder if it could be from a damp tompion, now removed? Easily polished out. A SN in the 2XXX range establishes its all English manufacturer. The rather dirty canvas sling tells me this was toted about by a reenactor, but likely fired very little. Nice gun. $950 + Shipping.
