54's are getting terrible hard to find. But there is a gun store high up in the mountains that have 54's as far as the eye can see. They are hollering to you, take me turtle, take me.

Well crow feather wish I could find that mountain
Keep trying "gun broker" and other sites. Look for dealers with a 100% rating for over 50 deals. Lyman and T/C were common well-made rifles. Pedersoli is more expensive, but I won a few contests with my Tryon 54. They are out there but looking in the mountains in the snow is probably not the best idea.
