Just joined from Texas! Dipping my toes into the ML arena, mostly because my wife’s family were gunsmiths in PA in the late Colonial period.
Another Howdy and Welcome from The Woodlands! Where might you be?

Tell us more about your wife's family. My family was in the Lehigh Valley for a good while, back in that same time period.
If you have any, photos are great, too.

Wow! Now that is the best excuse eever as a reason to love guns, and buy more. Good for you 👍. Were I younger I'd write that down and use it 😉 myself. Aside from that, keep your eyes 👀 peeled for scammers or spammers. There are posts and thread giving information on how to deal with them. By deal I mean, deal them out of the Forum. The one that almost got me suggested we take dealing to email off of the Forum. Red flag # 1. Hi, says man from Michigan, Steve

One more Howdy, from up here in North Texas. Plenty of great info about all types of muzzleloaders made before 1865.
Welcome to the forum.
