One of my my best friends owned and shot one in the 70's and 80's.
He was one tough competitor at the area shoots.
Good choice for a first, too bad it isn't a flintlock :rotf:

My first front stuffer was a cap gun also. All the cap guns are gone but I wish I had kept the first one an underhammer from H&A.

I shot and deer hunted with a CVA halfstock put together from a cheap kit. Sucker was accurate, handy and did the job just fine.
