Before I pull the trigger on buying the Remington NMA sheriff model new from Taylor's ($380~ shipped with an extra cylinder) I decided to make this post to see if anyone had a good condition one for sale.

Looking for a steel frame .44cal 1858 Remington 5.5" Sheriff Model or the Ace, just not the 8" barrel versions

I saw bad review on carbine. You have to shoot with a cap close to your face... I wouldn't have tried it with 44 Rem ))
