Completely hand sewn. This is a black, dyed veg tan top grain cowhide bag measuring 8.5 inches wide by 9 inches deep. It has an interior pocket, with slot for three flints conveniently attached to the pocket. This lined bag has binding on the scalloped flap, distressed fringe, and a genuine pewter button for closure. the leather strap is 54 inches long, giving an option to leave as is, or cut and attach the included buckle and keeper to make it adjustable, or I can do it for you. Price 115 shipped.

Really beautiful work! The contrasting stiching and the machine stitching keep me from buying it. It’s a great looking period bag otherwise that many would love to own. Very nicely done! Alter those two things and you could almost double your price.

There is no machine stitching. All my stitching is by hand. I have the tendinitis to prove it. I do use pricking forks to set up the stitching which makes it even and straight.

I bought loflyer55's last bag, the inlaid Flur di Lis, and it is just beautiful. Quality leather, precise hand stitching, ...just perfect, and also a flint wallet.
He is a true craftsman.

I sent him a PM to buy this bag too. You pilgrims lost out.
