I have handled, but not fired, several of his repros. They are beautiful pieces. Some two dozen or so of them have been approved for competition in the N-SSA.

But he does not do email or a Web site. If you want to reach him, you have to phone or snail-mail him. He's a one-man shop, and he says time spent on the net is time not spent at the bench. Hard to argue with that. :blue: :grey:

Actually he has quite an extensive website at:

http://www.jamesriverarmory.com/

It has been up and running for quite a while now. Beautiful work and highly thought of by both Skirmishers (real shooters, especially members of the NSSA)and becoming a big hit among the Authentic Reenactors (the "campaigners", many of whom will never fire their guns "live") because of the historical accuracy and variety of the reproductions he does. His email address is in the "Contact" section in the toolbar to the left.

Yeah, I mis-spoke about the web site, he of course does have one. But he told me three weeks ago, face to face, right after we (the N-SSA board) approved 11 more of his pieces, that he rarely if ever responds to email because it eats too much time. So if you're seriously interested, the phone remains the best contact point.
