This sidelock was part of the stock bought elsewhere. While fitting it into a different stock the hammer was released and because the mount bolt wasn't entirely secured, the shock broke a fixable part of the lock. Note; I am not blaming the hammer. I sent it to a gunsmith, (a member of this Forum), he repaired it. Don't need this lock now as I've found a trade rifle lock to go with the trade rifle barrel.
