Yes a lot of test tires and some special racing tires are still produced in Akron. We still have the rubber and polymer technology and there is more to come. Brigestone / Firestone moved some of there main office and testing facilities back to Akron. However Akron has lost almost all of its tire mold and tire building machinery industry. Even the tire press rebuilding business has vanished. But the testing and innovative tech. Is still growing.

Longwalk hello; Next Tuesday Feb. 27th the Salem Hunt Club is having there monthly muzzleloader shoot. The shoot starts at 6 pm. The club is located at 564 N Indiana Ave.,Salem Ohio 44460. I have no idea about how there program is run. Never the less me and a friend are going to give them a try next Tuesday night. Come on out and find out with us.
