Kinda new to this muzzleloader stuff and am pleased to be part of this forum. I just bought a .45cal 1862 Yorkshire flintlock by Richland Arms. I was told the .45 is ok for deer, so I may try it next year. Thanks for having me as a member. I'm sure I will learn a lot about my new sport. ..... Ed

Welcome Ed, good to meet you. Just bone up on correct procedures, both loading and cleaning and you will have a blast (pun intended!)
