I've wondered if these existed in the 1700's. I usually just wrap a flint or two in a strip of patching material and toss it in my bag, but I had some left over leather so I figured what the heck. I made the little screwdriver years ago from a broken modern one. Not traditional but it fits the tiny screws on my Thompson Center's modern iron sights.

I'm sure all kinds of things like these existed, and have been lost to the sands of time. Looks good, I like it.
