I just recently bought Euroarms Kentuckian 44cal from a coworker that he has had for along time and used alot. I got 2 shots out of it with alot of difficulty cause I couldn't get any spark after going through it all noticed the frizzen is really worn into the soft metal with a noticeable divet from where the flint hit. Problem is I can't find anyone that has a replacement frizzen anywhere. Was hoping for help tracking one down. I have tried Dixie, all gun shops in 2hr radius, Trackofthewolf gave me 2 people to try waiting for a reply. Any help would be appreciated

Have you had any luck finding a frizzen? I am having the exact same problem

A friend of mine has one and he wore through the case hardening on the frizzen. His is a carbine and even though it's a cheap gun he really likes it for the woods and has taken two deer with it. So, he sent the lock off to Cabin Creen Muzzleloading for a tune and to have the frizzen rehardened. It'll cost him more than he has in the gun but to him it's worth it.

I found a guy within an hour of me that does gunsmithing. He specializes in black powder stuff. He hardened my frizzen with Kasenite and now it sparks great.
