For sale is a 12 gauge English Percussion shotgun I picked up awhile back. Gun was in need of some TLC so I pulled the breechplug to check it. The breechplug threads look like new so the breech is very strong. I also had to file the underlug so it would accept a ramrod. I put a new underlug on it and new RR pipes. I made a Jag and scrotchbrite polished the bore. The bore is still pitted some but the gun loads easy and shoots great....I also polished and rebrowned the outside of the barrel....not too much as I wanted to maintain the patina look of the gun. I also wiped it with 2 coats of pure tung oil on the stock. Gun comes with the plastic Knight brand shot cups with overshot cards and the hardcase. That pattern was shot from 25 yards with 1 1/8 ounce of #6 shot over 65 grains of FFFG Goex.

The only issue I know of is the hammer is corroded away some on one side. It pops caps just fine and I've never had any blowback from it.
Gun weighs 5.75 pounds
13.75 lenght of pull
no cast off/straight comb
30" barrel

$400 shipped east of the Mississippi. anyone out west I'll calculate and split the shipping cost with you. Payment by check or money order, check must be allowed to clear. Will ship usps priority.

I am interested, but have a few questions first.
Choke? Is that a "original" nipple, and if not, what have you used as a replacement? Have you shot it with a ball? Any markings on the barrel or lock?
A picture or two with the barrel removed please?
Thank you!

The lock plate is marked Ward. The top of the barrel flat says London fine twist. I believe the nipple is a new replacement...I didn't replace it so can't say for sure. It threads in and out no problem. I've never shot ball in it and I believe it's a cylinder choke barrel.

Thank you for the additional information and photos, I will pass on this offer. Good luck!

375.00 and I'll take it, if the barrels are solid and the rib is not loose?
My mistake I though it was a SXS.

Seems I can't edit my post. I meant to say I put a new under rib on this gun...not underlug.

Also, new price... $325
