Ok guys, how many of ya dry your own foods? I use my dehydrator regularly, especialy this time of year. Everything from assorted variaties of apples to potatos to butternut squash. Along with jerk and just about anything else that comes from the garden(carrots, peas, green beans etc)I also make my own "portable soup"(home made boullion) which is a regular in the food sack this time of year. LOL my food sack is never the same as a little of this n a little of that gets added whenever it gets light. It all goes together to make a good stew or soup depending on the amount of water added. Add one more to the list. The climate here is perfect for it. The wife is good about getting the garden surplus to the dehydrator bit by bit over the season, and freezing those things that can handle it.
