Nicely executed full stock flint rifle in 50 cal. Gun is a comfortable handling length, with a 32-inch 7/8 barrel and overall 47 inches nose to butt. Barrel is browned as is the lock, all furniture is brass. A tight-fitted jag does about 1/2 turn in 32", so twist is around 1-60. Bore is bright and shiny. Rear sight was moved forward (old eyes I guess) and the original dovetail has a brass fill.
Stock has nice figure, is a warm brown tone, with LOP 13 1/2 and 1/4" of cast off. Stock shows no dings or scratches.
L&R lock sparks well, trigger is a single that pulls well.

EDIT: I have one detractor to add to the gun: there's a thin brass shim brazed to the bolster of the lock. Rather than inletting the lock another 1/16 or so, the builder shimmed the space between barrel and lock. This may happen if the builder has the main spring getting close to contacting the barrel or ramrod, or if they're worried the lock is getting set too deeply into the mortise. I've had 3 guns by different builders with a thin shim like this. It has not affected their operation in any way, but certainly want to call it out and I believe I have the asking price reflect this.

Asking $1475 with shipping and insurance in the US. Check or MO. PM for details.

Forgot barrel photos, and I made a short vid of the lock.
