Gentleman, I am in the process of restoring an original Ketland lock back to flint. Looking for advice on techniques for brazing a new pan back on the original lock plate. I also have a Deringer contract musket that needs to have a new pan replaced. The pan for the Derringer is brass to steel. Any advice is appreciated.
