Christmas Delivery

Just got a special delivery from my parents via my in-laws who are visiting for the week.

A little Jukar derringer. It cleaned up well. Knowing where it came from, it was probably never shot and just sat around a drawer somewhere.

Sadly, that transfer would be illegal in my state! Grrrrrr!

Illegal in NY as well unless you don’t have the components to shoot it. Unfortunately I don’t have what I need, so I guess it’s a wall hanger.

I'd still worry about them jacking me up, they could claim my intent was to shoot it. The process is the penalty, even if you are deemed innocent they will have run you into the ground.

Only way I'd have one is if the barrel had several holes drilled in front of the breech so that it could not possibly be fired. Or have it listed on a pistol permit which keeps getting harder and harder to get.
