I am very intrigued by this new gun. Seems like a great handling little rifle. As I get older, it seems those 44" to 48" barrels get harder to handle.

Has anyone any experience with these??

Smallpatch I have handled the one shown on Chambers website and it is fantastic. I haven't shot one but I love the length and balance on this gun. In fact it will probably be my second build. The buttplate looks like it will be a bear to inlet though.

I've put a couple together. Nice guns. The buttplate can be a handfull if you don'y know how to go about it.

I just finished enleting that butt plate now and it is not easy,i don't think i will try another one,the side plate looks like it going to be real hard.

the side plate looks like it going to be real hard.
Using the lock screws, bolt the side plate down and trace around it. Every time you blacken the edges and bottom and fit it again, use the lock bolts andscrew it down again and tap it down to leave a good imprint of black, then remove only the black parts. These will take me up to 2 hours to inlet well, somebody with less experience will probably take longer to do a good tight job. Just take your time and concentrat on what you're doing and you'll do fine.
