not to hijack a good post but the one that kind of worries me is carrying my .50 caplock pistol loaded. I have a piece of leather tyed to the gaurd that I place over the capped nipple then lower hammer on. but then my holster for it is a lefty (butt forward) and the muzzle is pointed down and back quite a bit.
a fella has to be careful in brush with this type of gun/carry.
