Can anyone post pictures of 1861 Springfield

Hey.....I'm building an 1861 from a kit, and the issue I am working on is fitting the ramrod into the stock. The stock is drilled for the ramrod, but since the ramrod has that "swell" out near the rammer end, it doesn't go all the way into the ramrod channel. I am assuming the channel has to be carved out and relieved a bit just in front of the forwardmost barrel band (I assume the swell in the ramrod is to hold it in place since there is no other ramrod tension device on the rifle). I anyone could post some pictures of the underside of the muzzle end of the rifle so I can get an idea of how it's supposed to look and go together, I would be grateful....thanks

This is from my Pedersoli Springfield 1861. I measured the ramrod groove shown in the pictures. If you need some more pictures or information let me know. The two measurements are of the ramrod grooves width.
