I'm really interested in how to use the mud flaps. Sounds like a good idea. We used conveyor belts from gravel crushers as paper target holders on our training ranges. They outlast the wooden posts that hold 'em up, but at times are hard to get ahold of.

well i originally got a pair of mud flaps to make a door for my great dane to come in and out as he pleases. so had an extra semi-trailer mud flap. its like 12inches by 18inches, fit over the end of my box just fine.
screwed it in with 2inch deck screws one in each corner(we dont shoot corners on purpose , right).
so you can shoot that mud flap so many times and the hole has to be big enough for a piece of rubber mulch to come out of it, so it will have to be a really big hole before you have to replace the flap.
kinda self healing to a point.
and makes a great door to get access to the rubber and lead. and checking the mud flap at the same time. remove lead and return rubber to box, reset mud flap and continue shooting. freaky indestructable mud flap rubber box. i love the thing.
