The Danvers Frontiersman will host their 47th annual black powder shoot on August 26th and 27th 2023.
We have campsites available with wood and water. Primitive dress is encouraged but not required.

Once on Club property, proceed straight past the green Club main building on the left, pass the archery ranges on your right, and continue down the dirt road. Parking is at the end, past the cabin and wooden lean too area.

- All loading must be from a powder horn, measure and possible bag
- Rifles and smoothbores will be single shot and pre-1840’s, flint and percussion only (earlier ignition sources 'OK')
- All shooting is offhand, except for over the chunk
- Patched round ball only
- No rear site on smoothbores, non-adjustable sites on rifles

- Over the chunk
- Smallest group
- Smoothbore buffalo target
