I just received a 14 gauge single shot percussion smoothbore and of course I had to disassemble it and had never seen these barrel stamps before.
The internet didn’t help much.

I have no real idea pure guess' Republic of revolutionary France ' viz Republquie Fransais 'whoever it 's spelt . Just a guess no more .

This is the full gun, and has a metal ramrod.
That is pretty unique. Butt stock almost looks like a smaller version of a Dutch club butt Fowler. And I've never seen one with the wedge so close to the end of the stock. Just odd enough to be pretty cool. If it's a shooter ya got a pretty nice one there. But sorry, I have no idea about that stamp either.

These are the closest proof stamps that are similar to mine. Just a theory that it started as a rifled barrel and bored smooth(the RF stamp)?
