Not exactly a historically correct design, but a nice looking possible bag with handsome quillwork on the flap. Body is about 8 x 8, with an inch depth/gusset, and trimmed in tassels along the bottom. Bag body and strap are contemporary suede leather, and the white leather design area looks like a modern-dyed piece. Quillwork is a labor intensive art; native Americans used porcupine quills to decorate important items, prior to the introduction of new materials by Europeans.

The bag is unused, but was not stored carefully and there are a couple small blemishes on the flap (no damage to the quillwork) and a stain on the back bottom corner of the bag. I have done my best to photograph the spots, but please message me with questions or if you would like more photos.

Asking $65 $45 shipped in the US. PM for details.

The stain on the back...is the leather still soft or is it stiff from whatever got to it?
Thanks.
Bobby
Leather in the stained area is soft like the rest of the bag. The bag body and flap are made with thick leather which gives the bag a nice weight and durable feel.
