Hi,
There was a company called something like "Village Restorations" or "Village Reproductions" that made a rifle they called their "Lewis and Clark" short rifle. It was a 1792 contract long rifle cut down and fitted with a Harpers Ferry lock and patch box. It was their entry into the controversy of what were the "short rifles" actually carried by Lewis and Clark.
