I have been asked by the Idaho Military Museum to fabricate dummy British and French musket cartridges-from the period of the Revolution- and provide representative balls for a display showing US martial ammunition through the life of the Republic.
I shoot a Brown Bess and an ample supply of .69 balls for the Bess cartridge, however I do not have any .640-.648 ball for the French. Anybody have about three .640-.648 balls they would donate to the cause?
