Can you please tell me who built the rifle and what kind of finish is on the metal.

ber the builder's name. It was someone in Maine. The finish is hard to see in the pics, but it's a gray finish.

I don't recall the builder's name. He was in Maine I believe. The wood to metal fit is first class. The metal is finished to a nice gray color.
