I recently finished my cannon made out of a M2 .50 cal barrel Bought offline. I threaded the breech to adapt a 5/8 breech plug then I MIG'd a ball of weld behind it to make it look right i did this slowly as to not heat the barrel up to much. then I strapped it to an axle for a craftsman tractor that i had welded a long tang on and tapped for a 9/16 head bolt that is used for adjusting the elevation.

It seems to fire great i have been hitting a 10" target at 200yds only have 25 rds through it if you feel like building one like this hit me up and i can give you detailed instruction. be sure you have good confidence in your skills

Sure as soon as I make it to the range next time I will post Pics and vids
