:confused: I have aquired a like new .45 H&R Springfield stalker from a forum member This thing shoots as good as any of my target rifles even with i'ts light weight. with this gun comes a mystery.My Dad and I worked for H&R in mass.in the sixties in fact this rifle has his assembly inspection stamp on it.I remember the prototype models of this gun however they were 6 or7 groove bbls. I need any forum members who have one of these to count the lands and grooves in the bbl this rifle also has the three position lock like the H&R officer trapdoor model please PM me--Spud
