Well as of 30 minutes past sunset today our first muzzleloading season ended. Seen several doe's but could not get a safe shot. In the morning our gun season opens but I will be back out with the ole smoke pole. I use my Black Powder weapons throught most of the season except for Archery.

Good luck and hang in there. I'm sure you'll get your chance at a good shot. :)

Thanks Plink just returned from an all day hunt seen a few small bucks and Doe's. Headed back out in the morning with the old smoke pole hope to add another to the freezer. I'm only going to shoot a large doe or a buck with 8 point or larger rack.

Here in PA we are getting ready to kick off the Primative firearms season the day after Christmas. I will be out on 26 and 27 December.
