I just bought a lightweight canvas tarp, 100% cotton, and water resistant. I plan on using it at rondy's as I don't have a tent yet. Figured I'd make either a lean to, or diamond shelter using it, what do you folks think? Did I do right?

I think will work just fine! I have a 10x12 dinning fly I got form Panther 20years ago and have been using it as a diamond shelter for the last 18.

Thanks guys, I feel a lot better now about my purchase, and am looking forward to using it.
