    Walnut dye

    Hawk hot off the press

    Just finished a new hawk today. Cast head with a turned bowl (bronze) pewter bands, silver wire inlays, ivory name oval, African blackwood cap & mouth piece and burl stopper.

    A new corn cob

    Just finished my new, almost new hawk. The head is an old one from the early 60's and had the bowl broken off. I turned a new bowl, cut a heart in the blade, did a little engraving and added some file work. The haft is new with an ivory bit,cap and clean out plug. Dusty

    Locks from TRS

    I have been trying to get in touch with The Rifle Shop with no success. I ordered a lock several months ago and when I call I get their recording. I wonder if they have had trouble due to the flooding in the area. Any info would be appreciated. Dusty

    Club Butt build

    I found a really nice piece of sugar maple and have gotten the warp and twist out of it and am ready to cut the rough shape. Does anyone know of a pattern for the butt section? I will be using a 46" Colrain 16 ga. and a doglock. Thanks, Dusty

    Replacement Bag

    Double set trigger prblem

    I need a little help with my double set triggers on my new in the works flinter. When I try to use it in the double set mode the lock only releases to the half cock notch. I have tried adjusting spring tension which doesn't help. What have I done wrong? Dusty Bob
