    On another site I saw a .45 Seneca offered for sale for $575. It is missing the barrel wedge. Does this seem high?

    CLOSED T/C Renegade with Green Mountain barrel in .54 cal

    I just don't use this so time to move it along. T/C Renegade with a 32" Green Mountain round ball twist barrel. Really nice shape. As you can imagine, it is a fine shooter. Loves 90 grains of FFFg and a patched ball. $700 and shipping. No electronic payments. Thanks for looking.

    Smooth bore recoil?

    I used to hang out at a shop where the owner was a big muzzleloader guy. He swore that recoil of smooth bore guns was less than rifled. Sounds like a story, but how about it?

    Several years ago I ran into a guy at the range who was playing with a smooth bore and using patches from heavy paper bags. Anyone tried this? Why?

    So the old T/C 1000+ (Bore Butter) is gone and I am about. What do you suggest as a substitute for patches and bore seasoning?

    I started shooting an older T/C Hawken in .50 cal. What do you like so far are RB and patch combo? Came with .495" balls but even a .015" patch seems really tight
