    Roundballs

I put my round balls in a rock tumbler without medium and roll them for 1 hour. It really evens the surface on them. I got the rock tumbler at Harbor Freight. I am tumbling all am different calibers now. Jim

    Round Ball Weights?

I will borrow my Friends tumbler and try that. I have a 50 Cal. Half stock with an 1 1/8" GM Barrel I bought from Ohio weights about 15# and I built a 1" copper sight-er tube with saddles that set over the sights. Hopefully it will make for an enjoyable and accurate shooting gun. Jim

    Round Ball Weights?

I am looking at some scales for my needs. My Lee mold is .498 and depending on where you measure them run up to.500. I haven't shot any yet. We got some much snow you can't shoot for the snow drifts around here. I got hooked on Chunk guns at the Iowa Chunk Gun Shoot last year.

    Dixie Tennessee Rifle

I have a Dixie TMR with Flint and Cap locks. It is muzzle heavy but works well. I need to put better triggers in her and it would be fine for me. You could do worse with some other guns. :m2c:Jim :D

Zouave Shoots high right 6 inches

I have replaced the standard front sight with a dove tail and taller front sight. I also removed some wood from the stock under the back barrel band. The load and charge was one set up by some civil war shooters. I figure if I increase it it might really fly high. Jim in SE Iowa
