    Walnut!

    Look what i got!!

    My new Tradition Deer Hunter .50 Cal. So excited to try it. I need to more powder was to expensive this week to get two so I went with one pound of 3 f until I can get 2f and 4f. Hope it shoots straight!

    Food for thought!

    I put a piece of hickory on the lathe today. I was wanting to make a short starter but when I cut it off the lathe it looked like a nice powder holder. Haven't touched it since I wanted to see what everyone thought!

    Traditions Deerhunter. 50 Caliber

    I finally got one. I joined this forum group 3 days ago and bought my first flintlock tonight. Any powder patch and ball combos would be appreciated. I got a brand new Traditions Deerhunter .50 cal. Any advice on care and use would be awesome.

    Hello I'm just getting started with traditional hunting. I'm looking for flintlock for round ball. I hunt Nw Pennsylvania for whitetail and have the pleasure of hunting the Allegany National forest. Longest shots on average are 40 yds and under. I think a 50 cal with some good powder will do...
