    I know that with my Lyman GPR I have to watch my toes when I rest it on my foot in the winter :cursing: I put a hole in my rubber muckers when it sliped because of my gloves.Thank GOD for felt liners :rotf: temp was 10 degrees and 2 ft snow

    right now, I'm a recreational competitor. I just started shooting a few months ago for the enjoyment of shooting, but I joined a club that has monthly shoots, and I realy don't want to be in last place every month, but last place is better than not shooting at all.

    Hornary or Speer, is one better than the other? Local supplier (Gander Mtn) carries Hornary, however, I've seen a few shooters at the local shoots (1&1/2 hr drive each way) using speer's. Fairly new at prb shooting, and am just curious? :hmm:

    Ratio of Range Trips to House Work?

    twice a week for 2 to 3 hours each time with 1 or 2 friends if weather is good enough (no rain or SNOW ) I can go shooting ... every day 2 to 4 hrs a day, rain, snow, or sunshine I do the honey do list and all is well ::

    Freestnding or Bench??? I'm quessing bench. My 50 cal GPR shoots like that from the bench, freestanding, I'm lucky to keep them on a paper plate. Just started shooting. less than 100 rds out. At 52 yrs old I got a last start, but better late than not at all :front:

    I'm hooked, finally went out today and shot my new 50 cal Lefthanded GPR today... It is GREAT.. it shoots a whole lot better than I can. 40 gr pyro w/490 ball benches less than 1 inch at 25 yds... standing no support 3 out of 5 in 3 inch other 2 expand it to 6 inches.. I expect it to improve...

    Well, it looks like the soonest I will get to try out my new GPR will be next tuesday, rain forcast all weekend :cry: I will try it with 40 grs pyro, 490 ball, and .15 prelubed patch I will let you all know how it goes :front:
