    The TC flame channel path isnt ideal. Ive seen a few that have a bit of debris(rust, carbon, fouling) can partially clog them just enough to hang or misfire.     Pedersoli also sells a version of those 209 adapters. But theirs is usually black, not silver

    Its definitely a MagSpark. It takes the 209s. Just take it off and put a regular nipple back in there. Ive seen them used when the guns were having ignition problem. Also seen them used to shoot BlackHorn209 powder in a sidelock.

    Have you tried using a lighter load? Like start at 60 and try 5-6 shots then try 65grn and 5-6 shots... 70,75,80,85. See if one of them tightens up your groups
