    Thanks for all the responses. I got the all metal murdoch pistol from MH. It needs a good washing out to get rid of machining gunk and cleaning up the lock. After checking out Loyalist Arms, I might get the blunderbuss I want later on from them. Again, Thanks for all the info

    Who is using a 32 caliber

    Got a Dixie .32 SMR flintlock. it was a percussion when I bought it, but I bought the flint conversion lock. Best accuracy worked out to be 30 gr 3fg. Tree rats look like they have been hit with a 22WMR! Head shots only!!

    anyone make a peep/ghost ring to fit your flintlock

    I found one in the Track of the Wolf catalog that worked on my DGW southern squirrel rifle. It looks like a std. sight but instead of a notch it has a hole. I don't have the catalog anymore, but it wasn't hard to find.

    Newbie from NC

    Just recently came across this forum and liked what I saw...no flaming and name calling. Being new I will be taking some time to see what has already been discussed.Don't want to ask about something that has already been flogged. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I prefer flintlock and real black powder.
