    Percussion pistol shotgun

Great, no sense wasting money on it. Either howdah dual 20 gauge or round ball pistol for me because of the size limitations I specified.

    Percussion pistol shotgun

I found this .54 fairly inexpensive smoothbore pistol: https://www.dixiegunworks.com/product_info.php?products_id=17135&osCsid=kugi2b1cuc8c4kr4n0r9jo8330 Thinking about getting shot wads and cards... Is this closer to 28 gauge or 32 gauge? I want to be able to hit moving birds and rabbits...

    Percussion pistol shotgun

I couldn't justify putting this in the long arm smoothbore section because what I seek to acquire has to be something more handheld. I want to keep a bug out pistol/revolver... shotgun... ready for hunting in a bag. I'm familiar with the Howdah line which is exactly what I'm looking for, but...

    Spoiled Cottontail?

Excellent, when my dad is ready to eat I'll thaw it in some brine. I've only had a rattlesnake (which compares to me to calamari), some dove (not all that good) and catfish, trout, largemouth bass and sand bass. I'll add cottontail to the list!

    Spoiled Cottontail?

Just got my first rabbit at 6 a.m. on Christmas (within 30 seconds of beginning my hunt). My first shot was a head shot (although I must have missed the brain somehow), and my second (the rabbit was still moving) was a terrible gut shot. I skinned it and you know what started oozing out all...

    High Antimony Copper pltd.

Wonderful! Merry Christmas. Just got my first rabbit today, but not with my shotgun.

    High Antimony Copper pltd.

Hey there. I just bought a 10 lbs. bag of copper plated shot. It appeared to have lead only on the bag in the picture, but when I saw the actual bag when I received it I learned that it contained a lead high antimony core. I know the copper is softer than my tungsten shot, but will the...

    Dirt In Barrel

I want to buy some kind of wire I can stick in one side and out the other to unclog the dirt.. Or some other unclogger. I don't see how a leatherman would help with a shotgun?

    Dirt In Barrel

I have not gotten dirt in the barrel yet. I just want to know what to do if it happens.

    Dirt In Barrel

I want to be prepared... I was hunting with my smoothbore and noticed that it is easy to accidentally plug my barrels with dirt. What is the proper field expedient method of unclogging dirt from a 12 gauge side by side smoothbore? Likewise, a 44 cal revolver, too?

    Loading stand and conical

Concave ball starter did not work to load conicals. I'm just going to melt them down into round balls:-(

    SxS and 00 buckshot

I am referring to ITX 10 original, but I bought it a month ago. Do I need a patch for buck or bird shot?
  18. E

    Loading stand and conical

Actually, yes. All it needs is even downward pressure to get it in. Thanks. Might try that.
