    I picked up a nice H.C. Wentworth&Sons Straight Razor today at a gun show ($40.00), has a nice sharp edge on it, He had a Robinson Shuredge, but wanted $200.00 bucks for it. My Question is how good is it?. So far what I've read indicates its a good razor (The H..C Wentworth that is.

    Alabama loses a WMA

    Alabama just lost a WMA for hunting. Boykin WMA was bought out by our "Forever Wild" program who immediately banned all hunting on it, I believe its about 11,000 some odd acres we folks down in south Alabam have lost for hunting. It turns out this is an anti-hunting program. :cursing:

    How is the fit and polish of the .36 cal. 1851 Pietta nowadays? I'm thinking of getting one from Cabbella's. Any problems with the cylinder not lining up with the barrel or the half cock not working?.

    Davy Crockett Days

    Just to give a heads up, Davy Crockett Days is the first weekend in August in Lawrenceburg, Tenn. I'll be there on Friday with my brother who lives in Athens, Al. I'm going to have my .40 cal. with me and try to get in some shoots or trailwalks if they have them.

    Cutting up thick lead sheets

    I found a guy with a whole x-ray room of lead. At first I was wondering how to cut up the thick lead sheets and mouldings. I found out that a hacksaw does the job very nice an easy. 180 lbs. for $120.00 so far. with about 300 lbs. to go.

    Bought some Renaissance Wax

    Well I bought some Renaissance Wax yesterday, should be here on Thursday. I have been using Birchwood Caseys gun stock wax, Question, do I need to remove the old wax on my rifles before using the Renaissance Wax? if so How do I go about it?. Thanks.
