    Ran out of .475s for my .48 eleven shots into a 20 shot agg. Double patched some borrowed .445s and placed in an agg. I now carry more than anticipated need.

    Very important. Rest the rifle where you will put your hand when shooting offhand. Good luck! Also, have your back in the same position as when shooting off hand.

    Smoothbore musket flint not hitting frizzen at angle !

    A shorter flint will change the angle of attack. I notch my flint leathers to allow setting the flint further back in the jaws.

    Depends on the twist and depth of the rifling. Conicals usually don’t seal well if rifling is over .005” deep. Yes, an over powder card helps but I view that as an extra activity that is unnecessary if the right projectile is used. Then a twist of 1:24” is better but up to 1:48 works if heavier...

    Depends on what they’ve been eating. Acorns - terrible. My deer corn - ok especially charcoal cooked and w a good barbecue sauce.
