FS is a US Springfield Model 1863 musket that I believe to be Bannerman modified post Civil War. I have seen several just like this one over the years, they are all alike. Bored to smooth bore / stock shortened. This is the best one I have seen, is in good condition, functional and could be fired, though I never have. Bore is dark, but no rust.
I have other photos I can send if interested.
Asking $500
reply here.
Thank you

As requested here is some additional information and a photo with my name and date.
The barrel length is 33", overall length is 49", weight is 7 1/4#.
Bore dia is between 20 and 16 ga, see pic.
There is also a repair in the lock. The bridle is cracked and it has been welded. A new bridle would easily fix it correctly. As it is it works fine.
