some of these curves mush less engraving them... Any way, just wanted to say Hi.....You have the real thing

Interesting that the miquelet lock was generally being developed along side the French flintlock at about the same timeline. In some ways, the Spanish were ahead of the curve in lock development. The miquelet lock being older than many of us thought about 20 years ago.
A collector friend has a Spanish wall type gun using an early miquelet lock with a lock plate shaped like a carry over from the wheellock period.

Hello Rick, I don't suppose you have a photo of said gun? A miquelet lock shaped like that would be quite the sight to see.
 
Here is a Algerian Miquelet. I looked up what the stock looked like and I didn't care mush for that. So I designed one for myself

Many collectors (including myself) believe these big Algerian locks were copied from the earliest Spanish locks. If you can view photos of the Spanish locks from the early 1600's, you will see the similarities.
