Greetings all,
I am offering for sale a very cool .62 caliber smoothbore flintlock pistol at a reduced price. I built it from a MBS (Muzzleloaders Builder Supply) kit a few months ago and have shot it about two dozen times with fine results. It's very fun to shoot!
The pistol features the L&R "Late American" lock, which I was told by Ryan (Owner, MBS) is the closest style available to match a Ketland Trade Pistol. It throws a lot of sparks!
The barrel is .62 caliber, tapered and flared, and 7.25" long. It has no front sight (traditional).
The stock is beautiful Black Walnut that I did some carving to. I also decided to add a different style side plate rather than the plane one found on the original. It just looks neater.
The pistol measures 13.75" in length overall.
I am asking $1050 for this handsome piece, delivery (where allowed) and insurance included. Layaway plan available.
Thanks for looking, and I will be happy to answer any questions or provide additional photos.
Best regards,
Bob
