Looking for a Pietta Colt 1860 Army for a project. Not wanting a new one. Something cheaper. Must be repairable though.

Yeah I’ve seen a few in stock online. Was hoping to find a used one since it might be cheaper.

Yeppers they are. Maybe I can find a fixer upper. I done tried the “put one together” thing and that’s really costly.
Last month, I picked up an Uberti 1860 at the Las Cruces gun show for $225. This past weekend, saw a Pietta '60 for $250, Alamogordo gun show. They're out there.
Found mine at a pawn shop with a conversion cyl. Found a regular cyl from a member here. All at are ally good buy, far less than new.
