Congratulations on a beautiful find and deal. I too recently fell into a deal on a Chambers Smoothbore rifle built about 20 years ago and bag to boot that I just couldn’t pass up. Absolutely love it and I’m sure you will too.

I got to shoot mine today with shot and the few .600 round balls I had left. About 30 shots and no misfires!

It was shooting a good tight round ball group about an inch high at twenty five yards. The shot pattern was one of the best I’ve ever had. When I pour some more balls, I need to post some pictures.

I’m here to tell you, a good flintlock will make you throw rocks at cap guns😄
