I have a preinletted english fowler stock and a 20 ga round to oct barrel. the barrel is a 1/4" too wide for the stock and the stock does not have enough wood to allow inletting the barrel. should I just file the barrel down to 1"? :hmm:

    lock question

I am getting ready to build a pistol from a blank and was wondering does it really matter if I use a Queen an lock at 5 1/4 inches versus a a small lock at 4 1/4 inches? the barrel is 7/8th if that helps. :v
