    Ordered a longrifle from Kibler

I'm ordering a walnut stock in .36 or .32 tmrw. Learning toward .36 as strictly a tree rat gun.

ya, I'm thinking about getting a swamped barrel.

    First Build opinion

I understand its going to be a lot more work to build one of these kits than the traditions I build. I just am having a hard time making up my mind. I know what I want and its the Lancaster, so that's what I'm going with. Looking forward to building this squirrel gun, hope it turns out looking...

    First Build opinion

Shopping for a muzzle loader kit. I built a traditions deer hunter in .32 a number of years ago. Wasn't much to it. Anyhow, I've decided I want to try and build a flint lock long rifle for squirrel hunting. I've contacted TVM and talked with them some. I've got it narrowed down to either a plain...

looking to buy bulk #11 caps. Where would I buy them online. Can't find any within a 3hr drive. Lots of powder, running low on caps. I like CCI 11 mag caps

    New Front Sight

Rebuilt a TC New Englander. Its in need of a new Front sight. Its in a dove tail, I'm assuming is original TC sights. Anyhow, it shoots way high even with the rear sight lowered as far as it will go. Haven't shot it in a few months cause I don't want to waste powder. Anybody have any idea how to...

    Magnum percussion caps

Only difference i notice with mag caps was they didn't fit. Bought a bunch of cci #11 mags and had to file the nipple to get them to seat. Can't tell the difference between them and anything else.

Percussion Caps is there a shortage

My local shop has regular cci for 5 bucks a hundred. You can tell they are old, something that came out of someones safe. Might start slowly buying them cause they are cheap compared to what I've seen. The average now is 8 bucks a tin.

    A gun named smokes

Thinking about a build. I'm a paramedic that smokes. I know better, but am having a hard time quitting. Figuring if I put the cash I would normally spend on smokes a week into a can I could easily afford a TVM kit. Not much of a rifle deer hunter so it'll be a squirrel rifle. I built a...

    Making a shotgun barrel

I've got a .54 TC New Englander and have been looking for months for a 12ga barrel for it. Ive found a few guns that have both the .50 and 12ga barrel but they are expensive and all I want is the 12ga barrel. Has anyone had one built to drop into the New Englander or can someone recommend...

    .32 vs .36 caliber?

I can only answer part of your question. I have a .32 that shoots 30gr FFF. Its got to be more than a standard .22lr, probably btw that and a 22 mag. I treat mine like a .22. If I wouldn't take the shot with a 22 I won't take it with my .32. Only real difference I notice is at 100 yards it does...

    bad caps?

I had the same problem with cci #11. Two guns it was the same thing. The caps are too small. Put the nipples in a drill and filed them down alittle. No problems since.

Bob hyot, coyote joe contact info

Looking a doing something kinda stupid. Really getting frustrated looking for a shotgun barrel for my TC New Englander. Figured I could contact one of these guys and have a .50 barrel bored out as big as safely possible and have a shotgun. Rabbit or grouse gun. Not sure what to expect for...
