    Discovery channel show

    Mike Davis is a personal friend of mine. He trained under Jack Garner, Herschel and Frank House. A fine gunsmith that built the CLA rifle last year. Bladesmith too. He helped the younger to get his finished , as a Southern Gentleman would.

    :bow: :) First off please forgive me for not thanking y'all fer helping me out with a round ball problem. I went to Dixon's and got some .562 rb . they will work out great. Just need to get out and shoot. To hot as of now. Wish it would snow

    round ball size

    I'll try .562 round ball and get the bore reguaged. A gunsmith I know said he measured it with a brass bore measure. Maybe his piece is wore out. I'm new to rifles, been only shooting smoothies.

    I'm trying to build my own match lock, but I'm not good with springs. I need a spring for the lever/ main spring. I need help. I have a stock, and a barrel. I need to get it breeched. I have the lock started though. Thanks ahead .

    I shoot a snapping lock made by Jurgen Kreckel. It's 1575 .72 cal, fishtail, witha 44" cannon mouth barrel. It also has a 16th century peep sight on it. A great gun' I can try to get some pics
